In-Home ABA Therapy in Wake County, NC
Second Chance ABA serves families in Rolesville, Wake Forest, Raleigh, Knightdale, Wendell, Zebulon, and Youngsville! We provide services at home, at school, in the community, and by telehealth. We accept Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and NCSEAA ESA+ funds.
ABA services start to become harder to find after your child’s twelfth birthday. We start at seven and stay through twenty-one, because the goals that matter at fifteen and at twenty-one are lifelong goals. Managing a routine without a prompt for every step. Handling frustration in the moment. Holding a conversation with a coworker. Having some say over your own day.
- A callback within 3 business days — every inquiry, every time
- Benefits verified in 24 to 48 business hours
- Parent and caregiver training built into every plan, not sold as an add-on
- A BCBA who knows your child's name — caseloads capped at 6 to 8
- BCBA-owned and operated
- Ages 7 to 21
- Aetna, BCBS & NCSEAA ESA+
- In-home, school, community & telehealth
Built for the ages most clinics stop serving
If your teenager or young adult was told they had aged out, we would like to hear from you.
School age · 7+
Behavior support that follows the day your child actually lives. Services are provided at home, in the classroom, and out in the community. Communication, social skills, transitions, and the routines that fall apart when something changes.
Teens & young adults · 13 to 21
Independence-focused programming: daily living skills, self-advocacy, managing frustration in the moment, workplace and community readiness. Goals that belong to the young adult, not just the file.
Private pay · no diagnosis required
Single-focus work at $150 per hour: daily living skills, desensitization, reinforcement systems, or bridge services while an insurance authorization is pending.
Skills practiced where they are needed
In school, Wake Forest
Behavior support that shows up in the classroom. We support our clients with transitions, task demands, and the moments when a school day falls apart.
Social skills that carry over
Conversation, turn-taking, reading a room. Practiced with peers, not drilled at a table.
Out in the community
Grocery stores, transit, the gym, a work site. The places independence is actually measured.
We come to you
Services happen where the skills actually need to work (i.e., your living room, the classroom, the grocery store, or over video) when that is the right fit.

A clear timeline, from the first phone call
A diagnosis comes with a lot of paperwork and not much of a map. Here is exactly what we commit to, and when.

Every inquiry gets a first response within 72 hours. If we miss you, we try again within 48 hours of that first attempt.

From the moment we have your insurance information, you get a clear picture of coverage and out-of-pocket cost before you commit to anything.

We tell you what it costs before you commit
We verify your benefits within 24 to 48 business hours of receiving your insurance information, and we explain what we find in plain language. North Carolina’s ESA+ program lets families of students with disabilities direct state-funded education dollars toward approved therapies — no insurance authorization to wait on.
$150 per hour — no diagnosis required. Good for single-focus goals or bridging a gap while authorization is pending.
Skills can be built at seven, at fourteen, and at twenty-one
Somewhere along the way, a lot of families get the message that the window has closed. Their child aged out of early intervention. Services stopped at the school door. The teenager who needed help at six is now sixteen, and nobody is calling back.
We do not believe the window closes. The strategies change; the possibility does not. That is the whole idea behind this practice: a second chance to make progress, at whatever age you are starting from. Our services are collaborative, meaning we teach the people around the client too, because a plan that only works during session hours is not much of a plan.
Founder and Clinical Director
- Supervision equal to at least 10% of every technician's delivered hours
- A minimum of two BCBA contacts per client every month
- Supervision notes filed in the client record within 24 hours
- A deliberately small caseload: 6 to 8 clients per BCBA
Every plan includes caregiver training. Every referring provider hears back from us.

Questions families ask before they call
What ages do you work with?
We serve adolescents and young adults, ages 7 to 21. We do not provide early intervention or services for children under seven. If you are looking for a younger child, call us anyway and we will point you toward providers who do.
What insurance do you accept?
Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield. We also accept NCSEAA ESA+ funds, and offer private pay at $150 per hour, which does not require a diagnosis. We verify your benefits within 24 to 48 business hours and explain what we find in plain language.
Do I have to drive to a clinic?
No. We do not operate a clinic. Services are delivered in your home, at your child’s school, out in the community, and by telehealth.
How long does it take to start?
You will hear from us within 3 business days. Most families go from the first phone call to the start of care in about 45 days, depending on how quickly authorization comes through.
Starting to look into ABA for your child?
We will walk you through what ABA actually involves, check your benefits, and tell you honestly what the first few weeks look like before you commit to anything.
